About Me
I have diverse creative interests and have always loved taking pictures. I have experienced taking photographs with film and digital cameras. In 2023 I completed my Bachelors of Arts in Digital Photography where I fell in love with photography all over again while learning new skills and techniques. I believe that my diverse background of interests and studies has helped me to see the world in different ways, which I try to capture in my photographs.
I live in St Augustine, Florida with my husband and our fur-baby mini dachshund, Penny, who has been an inspiration, subject, and muse.
I try to capture and reveal the beauty, essence, and spirit of the subject in my photographs - whether it is an animal or person, an object, a place, or event. I do this, whether the image was captured natural, staged, or is composited.
While I love both indoor and outdoor photograph, I believe both styles can present very different perspectives of a subject. I love using dramatic lighting to help draw the viewer's eyes to the subject and allow the viewer to explore the nuances that are revealed.
